Craig - I found this campground through links here on the camping site, and I camped there in January 2002.
Campground Review
We arrived Saturday January 5, 2002 and it was 60 degrees at 5 PM, (Orlando, Florida was 55). We enjoyed the vast 1800 sites, full hookups, Church service, a waterfront view, large clean heated bathhouses, paved roads, gated security, family atmosphere, no alcohol in resort, free CATV and telephone with free local calls at every site. It was warmer than we were in Connecticut and was a lot closer than Florida. Most days were 55-65 with two days at 70, a couple evenings were in the 30's, most were around 45. It was nice to walk 200 feet and be on the beach which borders 1/2 mile of the resort. It has an excellent modern safe playground and a huge laundry area. It was off season when we were there so some of the resorts functions were not in use, but the indoor heated pool overlooking the ocean was sufficient for us. Woodall's rated this resort National RV Park of the year for 2000-2001. Abundant restaurants and a super Wal-Mart within a ten minute bike ride made this an easy place to stay without having to drive the RV to the store. Best of all was the price in the off-season. Our family stayed nine nights and it came to under $200.00 for the nine nights for a family of six.
