Florida Caverns State Park, Marianna, FloridaSubmitted by MattGuide Rating - ![]() Matt - We went to visit the caverns and learned of this campsite. We camped there in February 2002. Campground ReviewWhile there is an RV camp circle, the real gem is the primitive camping area. It consists of three campsites nestled in the woods roughly 100 yards from a pond and nature trails through hardwood hammocks. Within 500 feet of the three primitive campsites are clean, hot showers and restrooms, which are essentially private given that there are only three sites using the facilities. The beautiful Florida Caverns are within the state park. A wonderful weekend getaway.Related ArticlesCampground Review - Florida Caverns State Park, Mariann...Campground Review - Fort Clinch State Park, Fernandina ...Campground Review - Oscar Scherer State Park, Osprey, F...Campground Review - Paynes Prairie Preserve State Park,...Cape Florida State Park, FL - top beach Cape Florida St... |
