Tammy - I found this campground researching the Internet, and I camped there in September 2000.
Campground Review
This is a great state park on the Guadalupe River! The campsites are up and away from the river to keep everyone safe during rains. There is plenty of river access, a great playground, and a cool hiking trail. There is a lot of shade which helps in the Texas summers. The park rangers are knowledgeable and friendly. And last but not least, even though you are secluded out in the Texas Hill Country, you are only a short 30-minute drive from San Antonio, Austin, New Braunfels and tons of great non-camping activities. It is definitely our favorite family campground so far!
