Pat - This campground is near my home and one I frequent often. I camped there in May 2002.

Campground Review

This campground is great because it is quiet, clean and has huge sites. In fact, I've never been to a campground with sites that even begin to compare with the size of these. There are lots of mature trees, and, due to the size of the sites, it is possible to have a site with both shade and sun, if desired. There are plenty of hiking trails and a pond for fishing. A short drive around to the other side of the pond will provide swimming and other activities.

This is a state park campground and like most do not have hookups on all sites. Those that do go fast, but since they have only recently begun adding hook-ups to a few sites perhaps they will continue to add hook-ups to additional sites over time. If you're self-contained or a tent camper, this is an ideal place to camp.
