Dead Horse Point State Park, near Moab, Utah

Jan - I found out about this park in a book on Utah campgrounds, and I camped there in May 2002.

I love this campground because it is surrounded by the beauty of Canyonlands. There is a wonderful four-mile hike around the point with breathtaking views. I suggest making reservations, if you are going to be there on the weekend. It is not a large campground.
