The Edge of Night Camping Club - We found this campground on the Georgia State Parks Web site, and we camped there Memorial Day Weekend 2002.
Campground Review
The rangers at this park are the friendliest I have found. The park is beautiful. The campground is nice in size, and the cabins are the best, nice and spacious. The climb to the summit of the mountain is steep, but it's worth every step. The overlook is breathtaking. Fishing is good also. My family drove from Indiana to come camping and have requested we go to this campground again next year. Georgia's state parks are the best.

What a Great Place....!July 27, 2009By REF74
"This was our first time going camping, so we where a little nervous about choosing a campground. We could not have chosen a better campground for our first time. The tent sites where more than we expected. The sites were clean, plenty if room for our full size SUV and our 2 tents. We had their 25 foot size, which had clean running water, electricity and even cable hook up. The bathrooms with showers where very clean and fully serviced by volunteers through out the day. That was a major plus from a family that is very picky about bathrooms. Plenty of things to do for our kids , we have 2 girls that are 9 and our little boy that is 3. They all had great time with the lake fishing to the paddle boating. The trails through out where very nice. The trail up the mountin to see the wall and the tower where really beautiful sites. The park rangers where extremely nice and helpful. My SUVs battery died one Sat. evening from playing the radio, called the office to see if they could assist me, within 5 minutes a really nice ranger and his wife jump started me and where very nice . I would highly recommend it to any one..."
