Derek - I had been to this campground before as a young boy for a church outing/camping trip, and I camped there in June 2002.

Campground Review

This campground is a wonderful place to spend a weekend or even a week. There are several campsites with plenty of shade. There are also many right beside the river that runs along the park. The river is very clean with several swimming areas. It's also great to fish in. The park offers several amenities, such as a store to buy beverages, groceries, wood, and several other needed items. There are plenty of shower houses and bathrooms that are clean. There's even a restaurant to eat at, when you don't feel like cooking over the fire. Sam A. Baker is a great camping area for all ages.
