Craig - We learned of this campground by examination of the Lake Louise and Yoho map by Gem Trek. We camped there in August 2002.

Campground Review

This is a great campground because it is located near many hiking trails in Yoho National Park. We tried the Paget Lookout Trail and managed to bring back some photos. A half-hour drive to the east is Lake Louise with even more hiking trails, although some of them may be closed due to grizzly bear activity. An hour west is the town of Golden, a good place to shower, wash, and resupply.
