Judy - Some friends recommended this campground to us, and we camped there in April 2002.

Campground Review

This is a great campground because all campsites are beachfront. It is like camping in the tropics. We have visited there around 20 times, and we've never had a bad experience. The ocean life is unbelievable. We have found crabs, sea stars, conch shells (live ones), horseshoe crabs, and all kinds of shells and bits of coral. The conch shells are protected, so you can't collect them. The restrooms are clean. Most sites are shaded. They are one of the few state parks that will allow you to have a campfire. (Within a designated ring). All sites have a grill and picnic area, as well as a private access to the beach. It's a beautiful campground!
