Campground Review
This campground just opened in 2002, and it's located just 1 mile from the dunes and about 1.5 miles from Lake Michigan. This park is for RV's only, they don't have tent sites. We stayed at Silver Creek RV Resort on the July 4th weekend. We were very happy with the oversized lots, the very large pool, hot-tub, and kids pool. We have a 40-ft motorcoach and had a full hook-up site with cable TV. The park was great, because the sites were so large that you weren't packed in like a lot of parks where we've stayed. Paved roads and concrete pads were great too. It was nice to find a park that caters to large motorcoaches. The shower areas are the best. Looks like a Florida park to me. You must try this park, if you are in the area, or you're looking for a first-class park. They did not have planned activities, but Silver Lake has so much to offer, I don't think we would have had time for anything else.
