Campground Review
I have to update you on Curt Gowdy State Park. We spent a few days there last August and discovered that they now allow swimming once again! Still couldn't get a good answer on why they rescinded the no swimming rule, but as hot as it was at that time we didn't care why - it was fun to finally get to swim there! Again, the park is beautiful and peaceful. With the fire ban in place last summer, there were hardly any people in the whole place. We did miss having a fire at night, but still enjoyed the peace and quiet. Great place for family fun!
