Campground Review
This is a great campground because it is up in the mountains on a small lake. It has a big shelter house with ping-pong tables and bath house. It was built by the CCC, and it is a beautiful place to camp without the bother of air conditioner units running all night and day. Only two campsites have electricity. If you want to camp without one of those big rigs, this is the place to go and enjoy nature. Some campsites are along a creek and all have trees. Each campsite has a place to put a tent, a picnic table, grill, campfire ring, and lantern holder. If you like to tent camp, Shady Lake is one of the places you need to visit! It is a great camping spot for families.
