Tentman - I found this campground via the park Web site, and I tent camped there in May 2002.

Campground Review

The campsites are nestled in scrub oak and are large enough to allow some degree of privacy. There's lots of bird life including wild turkeys. It's located in a lovely high-desert mountain setting. $19 for tents includes showers. This is a big, sprawling campground with 435 sites, yet they say it seldom fills. In May 2002, it was sparsely populated. The park itself is a treasure of scenic grandeur and archaeological riches. Drive into Cortez, CO for Mexican food at Francisca's, right on the main drag.
