Campground Review

My 6-year-old son and I camp. My husband's idea of camping is a Holiday Inn without a swimming pool. So I pulled our pop-up down to Pigeon Forge for spring break. We woke up the first morning to two inches of snow and freezing rain, but we didn't let that hamper our time. We went to the Aquarium in Gatlinburg for the day; it was great! We also took the Ober Gatlinburg Tram up the hillside; it was beautiful and snow-covered. The campground was great. They have it set up that you can view your child in the game room via your TV. The showers were cleaner than mine at home. We also went to the Dixie Stampede; what a great show. It was the best over-priced ticket I ever bought. My son loved it. And by week's end we were swimming in the heated pool. We also rode the trolley.
