Campground Review
This is our favorite Maryland State Park. It is close enough to Cumberland, if you've forgotten anything. The campsites are all spacious and not too close together. We always stay on the pet loop so our dog, Surf, gets to camp too! It has hiking trails, a lake with a beach, fishing, and non-motorized boating. There is a Jack Nicklaus championship golf course that is used by the guys in our group. The facilities are very clean. The camp hosts on our loop have always been very friendly. They have a camp store with all the essentials. All of this for reasonable state park prices.
