Campground Review
I have been camping at Elkmont since I was a little girl in the 1960's. I have kept the tradition going, and now it is my children's favorite campground too. The river is absolutely breathtaking, and the children take advantage of the brisk clear river by swimming, tubing, and fishing. As a family, we love to go to the forest ranger shows and learn all about the mountains present life and past history. If you want to escape the fast pace life and just settle down to enjoy nature at it's best, this is the place. It turns family time into what it is supposed to mean.
