Campground Review
We started going to Welcker's Campground in Peninsula State Park 24 years ago with our three daughters, ages 2, 3, and 8. After several years of enjoying the park and its surrounding area and activities, we started to invite friends and family to join us. We now have six families who have vacationed with us for the last 15 years or so. We all look forward to this relaxing bit of heaven each year, not only to enjoy each other's company, but to enjoy the park. It's amazing that so many things have changed in our lives, but the park lives on and doesn't change a whole lot. The same things that our kids did as youngsters are still available to our grandchildren who now come from Iowa to join us each year. We are planning a big celebration this year, as it will be our 25th year at Peninsula State Park. Keep up the good work and thanks for helping us to make many wonderful family vacation memories.
