Skippy - I found out about this campground on their Web site, and I RV camped there in September 2003.
Campground Review
I think this is a great campground because it has nice, level, roomy spots. It's a relatively clean and organized park with lots to do. Each site has a picnic table, hard surface, fire ring, and electrical hookup. There was no water hookup, but water is available. There is a lodge to eat at, if one desires, with a scenic view of the Platte River.
There is mini-golf, horse-back riding, tennis, great playgrounds, water park, nice hiking trails, craft center for the kids, and mellow dramas during the summer.
The only downfall is that, while there are lots of activities to do in the park, everything does cost, which can become expensive, if you have a large family.
