Steve - I found out about this campground when I attended their Treasure Week function, and I RV camped there in July 2003.
Campground Review
I attended the annual "Treasure Week" event for metal detectorists held every July at Whispering Hills for the first time. I've found a new place to camp! The campsites were level and spacious, each with it's own fire ring and picnic table. The campground as a whole was nearly spotless, as were the restroom facilities. There's also plenty to do, with a petting zoo, a pool, a game room, a fishing pond, and a Frisbee golf course, just to name a few. Not only were the restrooms clean, but there were more than one, so that you didn't have to hike a mile to use the facilities in the dead of night. The camp store was well stocked, and the prices were competitive, rather than overpriced like so many campgrounds I've stayed at. The staff was very friendly as well, and attentive to all our needs. On a scale of one to ten, ten being the best, I'd rank this campground an 11!
