Cristie - I found this campground through the Internet, and I tent camped there in May and October 2003.

Campground Review

Devils Lake State Park is a gorgeous campground! There is so much to do there like hiking through their many trails and swimming, canoeing, or kayaking in the beautiful lake. They also have a large playground for the kids, as well as a pretty beach. We walked one of the trails and just admired the beauty of the views over the cliffs and the nature. There are both wooded and sunny campsites that are grassy and kept up well. October is a great time to go and enjoy the fall colors. We went the second weekend in October, which was prime color tour time. If you get the chance to go to Devils Lake, I highly encourage everyone to go.
