Henrietta - I found this campground by a review on the Best Swimming Campground in the USA, and I camped there in July 2002.

Campground Review

This campground is completely self-contained with a store and a place to order sandwiches and breakfast. It has two newer pools and a private beach, which is out of this world. This campground has so much to do, and they have a lot for the children to keep them happy. It has a Jacuzzi too, and there are many showers, which are cleaned twice a day, and you don't have to wait. There are several bathrooms placed around the park for those who tent camp. Be sure to take all your food as you are far from the Northern Outer Banks and would hate to leave the serene setting of this campground. I rate this campground with the highest score possible as I have not seen one this great.
