Mary - I found this campground through friends, and I RV camped there in March 2004.

Campground Review

Clear Springs is hidden deep in the Homochitto National Forest amid the pine trees and hills of rural southwest Mississippi. There is a 24-acre spring-fed lake that has a swimming area and good fishing. It has 22 RV sites with water and electric hook-ups, as well as tent sites and primitive camping areas. There are two bathhouses with clean restrooms and wheelchair accessible showers. You can hike the loop around the lake or take the 10.5 mile trail. We have been camping there for years and love it. Our favorite thing is to sit around a campfire at night and listen to the nightlife, or to see the glow worms glowing in the ground along the branch. It's a great place for kids as well as adults. The hosts change from time to time, but all are friendly and helpful. Natchez is a short drive away.
