Campground Review
Put-In-Bay is an island on Lake Erie. It is known as a party island (on weekends), but during the week it is very family oriented. South Bass campground is beautiful. The bathrooms are almost brand new. The showers are separate from the toilet areas, but are all situated under the same roof. If you have a family, this is an ideal campground. You can all go in the shower together, which has a great changing area, and lock the door. If you are a parent or have someone that needs assistance, these showers and restrooms are top notch. They also have very good security, which is nice to keep the noise down and riff-raff to a minimum.
