Dean - We found out about this campground from friends who camp there, and we tent camped there in September 2003.

Campground Review

I have camped here for the last four years, and it is great. They have very clean bathrooms. It's located just off the St. Croix River, with nice wooded sites and lots of wildlife. They have weekend educational programs for children. They have primitive cabins and cabins with electricity. The only negative is that the nearest town from the campsite is 15 minutes. I guess that could be a positive as well.

I am a novice camper and took my 3 year old daughter there this past weekend and it was great. A drive in campsite and our neighbors were not on top of us. It has a good size for setting up camp and there is a great mini beach for kids and adults to get wet. Clean showers and bathrooms and great scenery, saw a bald eagle above the river
