Bill - I found this campground when we visited all Myrtle Beach area campgrounds while on vacation before buying a travel trailer. We RV camped there in April 2004.

Campground Review

The indoor heated and outdoor pools along with the lazy river beside the pool are very clean and central to the park so no matter what campsite you are at the pools and general store are close by. The large freshwater lake (with bass) is central also. You need to reserve early to get your choice of areas - wooded or beachside. They have a Web site with a map of the park so you can see where you are going before you get there. We stayed for 9 days in April, and we are going back for Memorial day. After touring all of the area campgrounds we found this one to be the cleanest and most kid/pet friendly campground in the Myrtle Beach area. The staff is also very helpful, but I would imagine that to be the case at any good campground.
