Be the first to Allie - This campground is 30 minutes away, and many people in my area camp there. We have visited many times and camped a few times the last few years.
Campground Review
Lake Charles is a really nice little park. All the campsites have water/electric hookups and posts with hooks for your lantern. The park itself offers fishing and has a swimming beach, playground, and walking trails. At the Visitor Center there are gift items, plus soda machines, ice, charcoal, etc. The park is kept very clean, and the staff at the Visitor Center are very helpful and friendly. Overall, I highly recommend the park. It's a very nice place for a day trip or to camp.
