Campground Review
Lake Guntersville State Park is a wonderful place to camp. I was born and raised in Attalla, Alabama, and I had never camped before in my life. My husband's family were all avid campers and puddle ducks so for me it was literally "sink or swim." So I learned to swim. When our youngest daughter was four months old we started camping every chance we got, with friends, other family members, or just us. We camped in the primitive areas when the children were small, but we didn't mind the inconveniences at all. In fact I think that's what made it such an adventure. Now the children are grown and have children of their own, and we now have an RV, but it's still an adventure.
