Sandy - I found out about this campground at the RV show in Virginia Beach this winter, and I camped there in May 2004.
Campground Review
The management at North Landing Beach were helpful and always present. Helping with questions when setting up, renting the canoes and kayaks, delivering firewood to the campsite. The pool was beautiful with plenty of room around it for lots of chairs. The beach area was clean. They have a cool tenting area on the beach, nice pull-through sites, and wooded or open campsites for RVs.

"Locals - My wife rented the deluxe cabin kind of last minute for Friday & Saturday night . Our three kids, a friend and the two of us. The experience was excellent, however the cabin was disgusting to say the least. I didn't arrive until after she had spent 2 hours cleaning almost the entire inside, and it was still extremely dirty. It was at the end of the season, but the cabin didn't look like it had been cleaned thorougly in a couple of years. The kids had a blast wondering around checking out the entire campground. The sunset was great. We did burgers and dogs on a grill I brought, and had a fantastic fire burning in the fire pit. Overall it was a great experince, but make sure you you can deal with the disgust of the inside of the cabin, or spend at least two hours cleaning."
