Joe - I stopped in here while touring the state in 2002, and I RV camped there in 2002 and 2004.

Campground Review

The owners Tommy and Sarah have really given this old campground a new-found shine. There are wonderful views of Mount Princeton, ice cream socials on weekend evenings, horseback riding, raft trips, fly-fishing, cook shack (a little pricey, but nice when you don't feel like cooking), store, game room, hot tub, and loads of other activities on weekends. I was really surprised when we went back this year. They have really put a lot into the campground. If hospitality is what you are looking for, then this is the place. I have never met such nice owners. They are always willing to go the extra mile.

Terrible ExperienceAugust 09, 2009By Vanice090
"The experience was like being in a concentration camp. We were harrassed by a couple of the staff members. They made a mistake and stressed my friends out. Then when realized it was a mistake they didn't even apologize to us. They were checking on us a lot of times. We were not allowed to stay late, or they were checking that no more than four were on the jacuzzi, or even go to the restroom at night, in a very rude manner. The bathrooms were broken and we couldn't take a bath or clean up. It was like being in a retirement home. I will never ever go back."
