Larry - I checked this campground while camping at a nearby campground, and I RV camped there in July 2004.
Campground Review
I think this is a great campground because it has tall pine trees and riverside campsites, great staff, clean sites, activities for the kids including a ride on an old fire engine, boat/pontoon rentals, fishing, well stocked store featuring delicious home-made donuts every morning, nice and swimming pool. I could go on and on, but suffice it to say that there are no disappointments here except leaving to go home. We have returned three years in a row.

"Contrary to the single negative review posted it sounds like I visited a completely different campground. I have been coming to Holiday Shores for several years and always regretted the last day of my two weeks there every summer. The staff is great and bend over backwards to accommodate. Homemade donuts, fire truck rides, outdoor ""drive in"" theater, multitude of water activites including beach and a pool, most sceanic and clean river sites available in the Dells and on and on. Our family of five LOVE this place. We have looked for a better campground...but cannot find one better than this. There may be a site or two that are not as ideal as others, but to avoid them you need to book about a year in advance...yes, the place is that popular."
