Connie - I have been going to this park since my children were very little, and I RV camped there in July 2004.
Campground Review
This campground has been a favorite for my family since 1976. There is a great nature center where they have snakes, birds, and other wild little creatures. They are very friendly there, and kids can join in on activities during the week. They sometimes have a movie by the river, hayrides, and nature crafts. There is an ice cream cart that comes by the camping area several times a day, so the kids can have a cold snow cone or ice cream without leaving your camping area. There are usually several camping sites available, and the trees there are tall and provide a lot of shade. The swimming area is great, but the water is very cold. We usually ride over to Broken Bow Lake, which isn't very far from the park. The water there is much warmer. This lake is huge. We love the hiking trails, the river canoe rides, and the trout fishing. We are now taking our grand children to visit there. It's not too expensive. We camped for five nights in our camper, and the fee was only $75.00. I love Beaver's Bend and have wonderful memories of this beautiful park.
