Andrea - I found out about this campground through friends, and I tent camped there in May 2004.

Campground Review

Desoto is such a great campground. The sites are truly ringed with trees so that you have privacy, and you don't feel like you are on top of each other. Sites are kept groomed, and they're not very rocky. Paths to bath houses are lit, which make taking little ones back and forth easy. There is a playground. The hiking trails are numerous and easy enough for our children. It does stay busy so you will need to make reservations. We didn't and happened to get the last site. It's a beautiful campground, and we will definitely return.
