Darlene - I found this campground on the Tennessee State Parks Web site, and I camped there in July 2004.
Campground Review
Norris Dam State Park is a very peaceful campground. There are two campgrounds, one on the east side and one on the west side. We stayed on the east side, which seemed to be more secluded. The campsites are very level and quiet. The park is very big, which means you have to drive to the pool and to a lot of the historical sites. They offered a lot of nature hikes, and it is a very scenic park. We enjoyed our stay very much, and we plan to go back since there is a lot to do.
