Jean - I've been a life-long camper here, about 40 years, and I RV camped there in July 2004.
Campground Review
The primitive setting gives this campground its appeal to our family. Rates the last couple of years have been $14 per night, if you're smart enough to not reserve and add $9. They accept Golden Age and Access passports. There are many hiking trails, opportunity to fish for trout, and boating in man powered crafts, such as row boats and kayaks. It is within 15 miles of excellent shopping and other sites to be seen. There are evening programs on weekends as well as interdenominational church services on Sundays.
