MB - I found this campground through an Internet search, and I RV camped there in August 2004.

Campground Review

This is a very nice, clean, smaller campground. We were there during the week, so don't know how crazy it gets on the weekends. The couple who owns it keeps it up. The sites are at the top of a hill, but once at the top, they are all level. There are a couple sites at the bottom of the hill, near the office. They are level also. We had a site on the ridge at the top of the hill. The sites are nicely done. The gravel areas are ringed in by railroad ties. Most sites have full hookups (except for the tent area). The hookups are all together. There's not a lot of shade. It's more of a park-like setting with lots of green grass, open areas, and some big individual trees. We had two big trees on either side of us. It was very quiet. They have a small pool. It's not one of those "resort" campgrounds with all the amenities, but we have no kids. It's very pretty with great views of the mountains. It's right off of Route 340, right before Luray (going south on 340 from Frederick, Maryland). We'll definitely be back.
