Ocean Lakes, Myrtle Beach, South Carolina

Bill - I found this campground while touring local parks before buying my travel trailer, and I RV camped there in August 2004.

Campground Review

Ocean Lakes has pull-through sites with enough space between for some privacy. They allow reservations by site number so you can go online and decide where you want to be. They allow and rent golf carts. At night around the pool and rec-center it looks like New York city traffic until you realize it's all golf carts. It's a very large park with their own security/police force, however they have a hard time enforcing the rules, and once I had to ask some children in front of their parents to honor the quiet hours after 10:00 PM. Overall a good time was had by all, and we would return to this park again.
