Leah - I found this campground searching Google for family campgrounds, and I RV camped there in September 2004.

Campground Review

A campground within an amusement park. This place is fabulous. We have three children, 12, 8, and 4, who were kept busy the entire four days that we were there. They have a train ride that circles the campground, great playground, pool, and organized activities for the kids until 11pm. They allowed pets too. We would highly recommend this place to everyone.

Bucktails is a great place to take your children when you're looking to camp out and have a great time. If you don't feel like going through the hassle of putting up a tent, they do have cabin rentals and rv areas. All activities are free. Train ride, carousel, willy worm ride, firetruck ride, miniature golf, swimming pool, arts and crafts, they even held a dance while my son and I camped there. The only thing we really payed for was the arcade room and the gift shop which does have a few souvenirs. They also have a park with a jungle gym, and a huge sandbox to the side. Batting cage, ball pit, things of that nature. This place pretty well helps you wear your children out, but I'm not going to lie, it wore me out too.
