Teri - We needed an RV Park that was close to Redmond, Washington where our child could attend a special engineering class during the summer. We visited ten campgrounds within a 25 mile radius of the campus. All had issues that would make our five week stay difficult. We came home and searched the Internet for state campgrounds, lake resorts, and timeshares Vasa Park Resort came up in that search.
Campground Review
We were pleasantly surprised in the quality of this hidden jewel. Vasa Park Resort was a perfect in-city RV Park that was close in to all activities, yet large enough to not feel like you were in the city.
This campground was outstanding. The sites were all on grass, and the drives were all asphalt. The park was big enough to easily turn around our 42-foot Class A Coach. The location on the beach of Lake Sammamish was an exceptional bonus. This resort is very large and accommodates private picnic events during the day. The picnic activities are kept separate from the RV park, and we were never disturbed by the activity. The managers of this park go out of their way to keep this park comfortable for everyone. The property and especially the bathrooms were meticulously maintained. This gated property has been flanked over the years by many residential homes. Its location is less than two miles from Interstate 90 and all the activities Seattle and the Puget Sound of Washington have to offer. We were very comfortable here during our five week stay, and we highly recommend the Vasa Park Resort to everyone looking for an RV destination in the Pacific Northwest. Make reservations early as this resort is not expensive and it is a favorite among all who have visited there before.
