Campground Review
My husband and I are originally from Newfoundland, Canada, but we have been living in New Brunswick for the last year or so. Last April with summer still months away we were getting really tired of the snow and minus 30 degree Centigrade weather. Both of us were graduating from university, and as a gift to ourselves we decided to take off on a camping adventure to the States. We originally were headed to New Jersey, but we were wanting warmer weather and kept driving. We came upon North Landing Beach, with the intention of staying one night, and we ended up staying for four. We set up our tent on the beautiful beachfront, met some new friends at the campsite, and were treated like true guests by the staff. The staff were down to earth and friendly sharing tidbits about VA and providing us with hand written directions to tourist attractions. We had an awesome time, and we have shared our experience with many of our friends in Canada. We plan to make another road trip in the near future, and North Landing Beach will definitely be part of our itinerary.
