bshj - I found this campground searching the Internet, and I RV camped there in August 2004.
Campground Review
This is a nice family campground that is close to the Marine Science Museum, a water park, a variety of restaurants, Oceana, and the beach. The campground offers its own parking lot at the beach. This is a big bonus when you want to come and go as you please. We went at the end of August, and even though the campground was semi full we had absolutely no problems finding a parking spot each time we went to the beach. The staff is very friendly, and they take care of any disturbances immediately. There are many playgrounds and pools to choose from, karaoke, music, stores, a putt-putt course, and even night time cartoons for the children on an outdoor screen. Our family loved this campground, and we will go back in the future. And about the jet noise, my children loved it. My sons were 8 and barely 3 years old, and we had no problems with the noise. We were camping in a popup. We were there for a week, and we experienced no night flying at all. It isn't a constant thing. Just look fast or you will miss them. A note from experience, do not leave food out in a screened in canopy. We among others came back to squawking crows stuck inside the canopy.
