High Falls State Park, Jackson, Georgia

Holly - I found this campground on the Georgia State Parks Web site, and I tent camped there in March 2005.

Campground Review

This campground offers lakeside sites with hiking trails closeby featuring scenic views of the falls. The trails are very picturesque and long enough to enjoy a nice afternoon hike. While the individual campsites are close together, noise from fellow campers was not an issue. They also offer pontoon boat tours on weekends and canoe rentals. Comfort stations are centrally located for easy access to all campsites.
