Campground Review

Turkey Point was so much fun. Our campsite was awesome. The site had electricity, and it was very large. Our campfire pit was perfect, it was encircled by 5-6 pines, and at night when you look up at the stars you see the pine siloutte. We also took a day trip into Port Dover where there was another beach, a lighthouse, Tim Horton's and a few restaurants, and shops. There was a garden/jewlery boutique that I just loved. The beach was big and sandy. There was a special swimming area blocked off so that boats could not enter where people were swimming. The beach was also very clean, and it was one of the cleanest beaches I have been to on Lake Erie. The water was really cold though, but that could be because it was only in late June when we camped there. I really enjoyed our time there. I would recommend it for people looking for a short stay or weekend trip. Three to four days was long enough for us.
