Danelle - I found this campground on the Georgia state parks Web site, and I RV camped there in June 2005.

Campground Review

Our family of six (dad, mom, and four daughters) camped at Skidaway for a week in June 2005. This was our first time at the park, and we were definitely impressed. Our site had a picnic table, fire ring with grill, water, power and cable hook-up, and it was shaded by wonderful mossy oaks. The facilities included bath houses and washer and dryer, which came in handy. There are beautiful hiking trails, and this is a wonderful place to bike. The director of the park, Molly, was great. She answered even the silliest questions the girls asked about nature, and she was very informed. There were various activities to participate in and a great pool facility. The park museum had a birding station and other natural displays. The small drive to Savannah and to the beaches of Tybee Island were very scenic and well worth it. This was one of our most wonderful and memorable camping experiences ever.
