Michael - I heard of this campground before. I went last week, and I'm back again this week after checking out two other campsites. I tent camped there in July 2005.

Campground Review

I think this is a great campground because it is quiet, private, and convenient to the Maine coast from Belfast to Waldoboro. You can canoe the St. George River from the campground, watch the turtles on the logs, swim, sleep, sun, and rest. It is mostly seasonal RVs so there are very few young disturbances. Although Sennebec Lake is not expensive, it's not cheap either, but then you get what you pay for.
