birdy3815 - I heard about this campground from others who camped there, and I RV camped there in July 2005.
Campground Review
This campground I would rate a 9 out of 10. The place is immaculate as far as I am concerned. It is very child-friendly, and there are many activities for adults as well as children. There are three pools, and one is strictly for adults as well as the whirlpools. Playgrounds are spread out and a little on the lame side, if you have an older child. Bathrooms are sparse, however, many use RVs here at this park. They are clean (at least the ones near the pool). There are many permanent sites, but I did not have a problem with that at all. In fact, one of our permanent neighbors gave us a golf cart tour of the entire campground, which is 77 acres big. He also offered to take us to Dunkin Donuts. That was friendly, if you ask me.Our site was quiet, close to activities, and private as well. Site numbers could be marked better. We had a hard time figuring our site, but we found it. Some are crowded, but we lucked out I guess. The place is relatively quiet, which I was surprised by since the number of children there is huge. They have strict rules as far as check-in and check-out. They won't give you the key until the exact time, but we weren't very early or late so that did not bother us. The arcade is not good. It needs more games, and for the money this campground charges it should be bigger. Security here is good and tight. They check out the grounds on a regular basis. If you have children that is important. What more can I say? If you like clean and like fun and have children, this may be the place for you. If you like roughing it, well maybe this wouldn't be the place for you. There is no pond and no fishing. I will go back here for sure though.
