Diana - I found out about this campground on the Web, and I tent camped there in August 2005.

Campground Review

I think this is a great campground because it is very family friendly. We were 1st time campers, and this campground was very clean, peaceful, and not too remote. For all those things you forget, a van comes around complete with ice, firewood, marshmallows, etc. Town is not too far away. Nearby waterfalls were stunning. They have activities, even a Junior Naturalist program, which made it educational yet fun for two 10-year-old girls. We were prepared for bears though none were around. They're very careful, which is appreciated. We did have a bear scare one night, but it turned out to be a nearby camper with the loudest and longest burp known to man. Your car is kept at the site. We survived, but I'd probably prefer a cabin next time and some Tums for the neighbor's indigestion.
