Robert - This is a public campground that I found out about on the New York State web site. I tent camped there in July 2005.

Campground Review

This campground sits on the banks of Lake Ontario. The sun sets over the lake at night, providing a magnificent view, which draws campers to the lake front. The City of Toronto is visible on the horizon. The campground consists of a grassy field with numerous trees interspersed for shade. Because of the grass surface very little dirt was tracked into our tent. Four Mile Creek is a quiet, clean campground with a beautiful view of Lake Ontario, and it's within easy driving distance of Niagara Falls and several picturesque small towns with decent restaurants, making it a pleasant place for us to stay during our visit to the falls.
