Baker_ia - I found this campground on the Internet, and I RV camped there in June and September 2005.

Campground Review

Campsites have grassy pads, and it's a quiet park without a lot of traffic. The entrance to the park is gravel and has a steeper hill to go down and come out of to get into the camping area. The downhill area is paved so it is not rough or washed out from rain. The exit is steeper to get out, but it's not to bad. We were able to get our 27-foot travel trailer out without any troubles. There is no shower house. Pit bathrooms have water available, but not at each site. They have 20 and 30-amp sites with very reasonable camping fees. It sits along a stream, so fishing is available. North Woods Park is nestled within the A. F. Miller Preserve so hunting is another activity for the area. The city of Sumner has a water park for swimming. The Sumner police department patrols the park on a regular basis. The park had a heavy mosquito population this fall, but when we were there in June it was great, and there was no problem with mosquitoes at all.
