Sarah - Bullards Beach is one of many Oregon State Park campgrounds where we've spent many fun-filled camping trips, and we RV camped there in July 2005.

Campground Review

Bullards Beach is located two miles north of the town of Bandon by the Sea on the Oregon coast. The campground is nestled in a wooded area about a mile from the ocean, so it is more protected from the wind. It is not as large as other Oregon state park campgrounds, which makes it much less crowded. From the campground you can go crabbing on the Coquille River, or ride your bike to the Coquille River Lighthouse, or take a day trip into the quaint and beautiful town of Bandon by the Sea. While in Bandon, enjoy some of the treats from the Bandon Bakery or just do some shopping in Old Town Bandon. Make sure you leave time to explore Bandon's beaches, which are some of the finest on the Oregon coast. You can go for a horse back ride on the beach or just walk along them and explore the tide pools at low tide. Stop at Tiffany's Drug store on Highway 101 for the largest selection of wines on the Oregon coast, or get the chance to pet a baby tiger or lavender skunk at the Wild Life Game Park just south of Bandon. You can find out more about this campground, as well as other Oregon State Parks from the Oregon Parks and Recreation website. I hope you enjoy your visit to our beautiful state.
