Thomas - I found out about this campground on the Internet, and I RV camped there November 2005.

Campground Review

I think this is a great campground because the amenities and location are fantastic. The staff and campground were great. It's close to downtown Charleston in beautiful surroundings with deer and other wildlife on site. There are several walking trails and fishing on site. There's a shuttle to downtown. The campground is within a short distance to many sightseeing opportunities. They have reasonable fees and friendly people. One of the best places that I have camped. It's a must for those in the Charleston area.

Great CampgroundOctober 12, 2009By hobopals
"This campground has everything, and it's a hop, skip, and a jump from Charleston and beaches. My favorite part is that it's very dog friendly--off leash area with a lake. Staff is great, park is neat. Great destination park. Walking paths, water park, climbing wall, fishing, kayaking, etc. I have been to this park many times--going on the 23rd for a week, again. My favorite site is 29, but I couldn't get it this time. Have fun."
